Jasmine Jan was born and raised in Darwin. She completed her science degree whilst undertaking a traineeship in the Natural Sciences division at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. It was during her traineeship that Jasmine developed her skills in scientific and wildlife illustration.
