JEAN VINAY Jean VINAY was born in 1907 in Saint-Marcellin in the Dauphiné region of France. After secondary studies, he developed a passion for art and in 1933 moved to Montmartre, Paris where he set up as a painter. He was mainly self-taught, learning from artworks he studied in museums and galleries.
