Welcome to the Artists’ Colony of Jerusalem. Hutzot HaYotzer (as it is known in Hebrew) is a charming studio-lined lane at the foot of the Old City walls, within a short walk from the Jaffa Gate and Mamilla Mall. Established in 1967 by the legendary mayor of Jerusalem, Teddy Kollek, the artist colony is a bridge between western and eastern Jerusalem.

Mar 11, 2019 · When walking around Jerusalem, you don't want to miss Chutzot Hayotzer...the Artists' Colony. A beautiful collection of Israeli artists, both modern and traditional. This hidden gem isn't on a lot of lists, but is well worthwhile and very easy to get get to. At the base of the Mamilla shops, continue to the right (when facing the wall) and stay on the right side of the road.5/5(12)
