Jan 22, 2014 · (4.5 stars) Of all the cowboy artists, perhaps Joe Beeler (1931-2006) comes the closest to being the successor of the tradition begun by Charles M. Russell at the turn of the nineteenth century. This book contains a wealth of art. My primary interest is Beeler's Indian paintings and sculptures, however much of his cowboy art is pretty good too.4/5
