Joe Sheehan was born in Hull in 1979. After attaining a B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art at the Hull School of Art and Design, he moved to Bournemouth and completed an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Animation at The Arts University Bournemouth. He now works as an artist and lecturer in Hull.
