Thanks to a generous endowment he has made, the gallery in E.O. Bull Center for the Arts is being renamed the John H. Baker Gallery.

After almost 20 years of being known on campus only as “the guy that rents the darkroom”, he was brought out of the shadows and given several responsibilities at Crealdé school, including that of photo instructor.
