    Karl Godwin is known for Landscape, illustrator, etcher. Illustrator, painter, etcher. Born in Walkersville, Canada on Nov. 19, 1893. Godwin studied with Charles Hawthorne, Siguard Skou, at the ASL of NYC and the CGA. He taught commercial art at Chouinard Art School, Los Angeles, in 1922-23. By 1940 he was living in NYC. He died in Westport, CT in 1962.
