Artist Statement I am interested in the personal and the political, humour, feminist strategies and subjectivities in a lived world. I make artists’ books, video installations, performances and drawings - pretty much anything that seems to structurally contain thoughts and action.

Katharine Meynell has been working as an artist since the late 1970’s, working across material media, using moving image, performance, drawings and artists’ books. Her work is distributed by LUX.
