Born in Dublin, Kathy Prendergast lives and works in London. She studied at NCAD and briefly trained as a camera operator in RTÉ before enrolling at RCA, London, where she graduated with an MA in sculpture in 1986. Prendergast’s work is characterized by persistent themes of identity, geography, memory, love, loss and loneliness.
