Welcome to the Kawartha Artists Facebook Page. The goal of Kawartha Artists (the website, Facebook page and Instagram account) is to provide an online environment for the artists of the Kawarthas and throughout Peterborough County (and now expanding to include the City of Kawartha Lakes) to easily exhibit their work, enabling art lovers to search for and discover local talent.
KAN has been meeting the needs of local visual artists by providing exhibition opportunities, technical expertise instruction, and the chance to network with like-minded creators. A co-operative is ABOUT artists and FOR artists, and we are thrilled this group came together to provide such a support system in Kawartha Lakes.

Jaan Teng B.A., MEd., C.E.T. has studied and taught at George Brown College, Fleming College, Eesti Art Akadeemia and Tallinn University and keeps a studio/workshop both in Tallinn, Estonia, and at his residence in rural Peterborough. He is a member of the Kawartha Artists Group in Peterborough as well as the Estonian Artists Group EKKT.
