Ken Leslie is Professor of Fine Arts at the Visual Arts Center of Northern Vermont University, where he has taught painting and drawing since 1984. His exploration of Time and Space has taken him to several residencies on and above the Arctic Circle, both in winter and summer.

A resident of upstate Vermont, Leslie has been a Johnson State College faculty member since 1984, and has spent his artistic career crossing boundaries. Not taking his first art class until his last year at Amherst College, Leslie bridges the scientific and artistic worlds in his work, "exploring, documenting, measuring, calculating, identifying and explaining" to arrive at a finished piece.
