As the son of a music teacher and an Army officer, Ken Swinson lived in many places over the years, before moving to Kentucky in 2000. In 1995, while living in Norfolk, Virginia, Ken began experimenting with linoleum prints as well as pottery – renting studio space, and gradually purchasing pottery equipment and working as a potter.
