A striking geometric figural sculpture by renown Japanese artist Kengiro Azuma. Azuma was born in 1926 to a family of bronze artisans. In 1956 he moved to Milan to study at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. He was greatly influenced by the work of Marino Marini and eventually became his assistant. In the 1960s he exhibited throughout Europe including Italy, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
