Mar 21, 2011 · Lady Ann Biography Barbara Smith, better known as Lady Ann, was born in Jubilee, and raised in Western Kingston (also known as Kingston 13). She began in sound systems in the late 70's along side deejays Little John and Ranking Toyan. In 1978 she recorded his first songs, Plan Your Family featuring Ranking Toyan and Shine Eye Boy.
