Artist Biography B orn in 1922 in the county of Szabolcs, Hungary, Laszlo Tar began to draw and paint his world at the early age of five (1927). He was formally educated at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts (1943-1948) under Hungarian master Szõnyi István.

The signed prints were created jointly with the artist from 1993 to 2018. Open Edition prints are now limited, as the artist is no longer available to sign new prints.
