I dropped art at 13, to take all the “academic” subjects. This rankled - I loved art. Years later, when I stopped work, art! Short courses at London art schools beckoned and ceramics, something I hadn’t done before, enthused me. Back home, I sculpted at Salisbury Arts Centre with Charlotte Moreton.
