Mar 10, 2010 · Lew was born in the small farming town of Zumbrota, Minnesota. He started to work with stone when he was just nineteen years old. He moved to Martha's Vineyard over 25 years ago and has worked on his own stone designs exclusively since. One of the great things about working with stone is, you are always learning.

We coached our sons’ youth league team together, and we often spent weekend afternoons shagging flies and hitting grounders with our boys for the pure joy of play.
