Dec 29, 2010 · Lionel Thomas (1915-2005) was a Canadian artist and teacher, born in Toronto in 1915. He studied figurative art at several schools in Toronto from 1933-1937. In 1940 Lionel and his wife Patricia hitch-hiked to Vancouver, where they became active in the local art scene.

Lionel Thomas has inventively developed his art in relation to architecture throughout his career as a colourist and muralist.
