Louise Corke. Artist profile. Artist's Statement. Exhibitions. Awards. Contact. For me the making of art is a direct emotional response to my experiences. I like to think of pastel painting as a dance across the page with tone and colour. The dance I perform is pure gestural expression. I marry my heart to my hand and together they speak visual music.
