Luisa Sartori : Biography. Born in Italy, I spent my formative years studying art and architecture in Venice and then worked as a licensed architect in Milan and Algiers (Algeria) where I developed an interest in conservation of traditional architecture. Pursuing such interests, in the early eighties, I came to study at Columbia University where I got a master’s degree in architectural preservation.
