Manolo Manuel Hugue was born in 1872 in Barcelona, Spain. He attended the School of the Lonja. He traveled to Paris at very young age to complete his studies. He participated in the Barcelona International Exposition of 1929 and in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of Paris in 1941. The artist passed away in 1945 in Caldes de Montbui.
