Emanuel Paul. American jazz tenor saxophonist, born February 2, 1904 in New Orleans (Carrollton District), Louisiana, died May 23, 1988 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Paul played with Louis Dumaine, Albert French, Kid Howard, and others. From 1940 played with Eureka Brass Band, and began an association with Kid Thomas Valentine that continued into the 1980s.
