Margaret (Elder) Philbrick, etcher, apinter and lithographer, was born in Northampton, MA, in 1914. After graduating from the Massachusetts School of Art and the Massachusetts College of Art, she married Otis Philbrick and moved to Westwood, MA, in 1941. While etching was her favorite format, she also painted in oils and watercolors, and did a series of serigraphs.
