Mar 09, 2014 · Marian Lansky: I grew up in New York City in a musical family. Was supposed to become a musician but I didn't love it. Was supposed to become a musician but I didn't love it. My parents wanted me to audition for the High School of Music and Art as a music major, but I chose art instead, drew up a portfolio, took the test and got in.
