Marie-Denise Douyon is a Canadian painter, illustrator and graphic artist. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in Canada, the U.S., Europe and Africa. Douyon was born in Haiti but fled the Duvalier regime with her parents in 1964, and eventually settled in Morocco in 1966.
