Jan 06, 2014 · This amp, I prefer the boost channel, it gives (gain background) just a terrible distortion for a Marshall 1986 I had never seen anything in the genre! the sounds I like least is when the knob "tone" is not fully or almost I think the sound is serious, down and finally it sounds hurt my ear (matter of taste).5/5

Dec 12, 2012 · Hey man the amp is killer.I have one in like great condition.With the matching 2-12 a-b cabs even the original covers.It is really deep and thick.I also own a JCM2000 DSL the limited run in Silver.Dont let the 30watt rating on the 3203 fool you.It is loud, great distortion and you can feel it through you when jamming in front of the amp.O.K. my DSL has a bass button but it seems kind of fake its hard to explain the 3203 …

Jul 23, 2010 · the Artist is considered by many (including Jim Marshall himself) to be the worst model Marshall ever produced. Worse than the JCM600's and some of the JCM900's? I thought the 4203 I played sounded pretty good, I liked the gain channel better on it than the Marshall DSL401 I had at the time. I liked the clean better on the DSL401.
