Oct 04, 2012 · The 3203 is completely SS front end except for the phase invertor, which technically is part of the power amplifier anyway. None of the JCM800 or JCM900 tube models are anything like this. They are all valve pre-amps, and diode clipping is merely a method of creating false gain. Totally unlike the 3203 front end.

Jan 29, 2013 · 3203 is a GREAT little amp, a real sleeper. With a few mods, like a Voodoo Amps mod, and I would take a 3203 over a Splawn Quick Rod!

Jul 29, 2020 · Loved the amp with an 4x10 before I got my first full-tube amp Orange Rocker 30. Also hade the 4203 combo 2 times after that. Did all the mods you could think of on the combos to get the boost channel to sound more like an highgain normal-channel and the normal channel more "organic", did get better but was not worth the effort realy.
