Hi - I had a hip replacement 2 years ago and was back doing Tai Chi Chuan after 2 months. It takes a while to build up again but I would say that I am back to where I was before my hip gave out. It has gotten to the point where I can no longer ignore or continue with my right hip in the present condition. I had it checked out recently and it appears as if a hip replacement is inevitable.
