Martin Canin (American, b. 1927) Born in 1927 in Brooklyn, Martin Canin is an American artist known for his intense color field and abstract geometric artworks. He received a BFA in Painting from Syracuse University in 1951. While producing and exhibiting work internationally, Canin also taught in the illustration department at Parsons School of Design in New York for 25 years.
