Hilda married at Ipswich in 1923, Leonard Russell Squirrell [q.v.] and their two children were Martin Squirrell [q.v.] and daughter Annette [q.v.]. An amateur painter and as Mrs. L. R. Squirrell was an honorary member of the Ipswich Art Club from 1952 until her death at Ipswich in 1972. She does not seem to have exhibited.
