Mary Jane Q Cross of Newport New Hampshire was born in Rockville, Connecticut. She studied at The Wooster Art Museum School in 1970. At a later point, 1983, she studied with Daniel Green in New York, and influenced by him, she has completed over one-hundred portraits. Some of her time between studies was spent teaching art classes.
