MASSART ART MUSEUM. The MassArt Art Museum (MAAM), Boston's new free contemporary art museum opened in February 2020. MAAM is a resource for MassArt students and faculty, educating students about contemporary art, partnering with faculty to support the curriculum, and preparing students for careers in the museum field.

The graduate programs of the Massachusetts College of Art & Design (MassArt) are thrilled to welcome Nicholas Galanin to the MassArt Fine Arts Lecture Series on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 6:30pm via Zoom. Nicholas Galanin (b. 1979, Alaska) is a Tlingit/Unangax̂ multi-disciplinary artist. His work engages contemporary culture from his perspective rooted in connection to land.

On April 22nd, guest artist Dan Blakeslee visited MassArt and gave a presentation of his work to Mark Reusch’s section of Sophomore Illustration and Lisa Kennedy’s Digital Illustration class. Dan’s a well-known New England artist and musician, and has created hundreds of concert and event posters, as well as illustrations for the book, advertising, and snowboard industries.

The MassArt Dining Commons is located on the first floor of the Kennedy Building. The dining service also offers a full range of catering and seasonal specials and is managed by Chartwell's Dining Services. Resident Student Meal Plan.
