Forever Friends was illustrated by (the amazing) Deborah Jones and I was set up as the second artist (to her) working on all licensed product. A company was then formed around me to deal with that (S.P.J/Swann, Pearce, Jeanes) and I ran the Illustration Dept (that included a young Doug Hyde!).

Working with talented people and encouraging them to create is a wonderful experience, developing product / art for whatever trade is a treat. Working for Hallmark taught me the Greeting card industry but with F.A.B (Art Director) and then Paper House/G.B.C (Creative Director) I had the luxury to instigate an awful lot of work I am proud of.

ART Matt has been painting for as long as he can remember, he decided as a child that’s the one thing he wanted to do.. and he has.
