MAXINE JUROW Maxine Jurow, an intuitive painter, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters Degree in Painting and Education, both from Long Island University’s CW Post Campus. Her professional life has included teaching art followed by twenty years as the Executive Director of Literacy Suffolk.

Through memories of these places I construct essential, abstracted landscapes - part observation, part imagination. My art works are, in a sense, a meditation on these places; the sources I continually return to.”
