Artist Bio: Melinda Thorsnes, born in 1951 in Richland, Washington, once a student of the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, is known for her “highly saturated figurative oils” with an implicit narrative that she has said are like “mid-chapter stories with an elusive beginning and no predictable end.”
