Melvyn Evans is fascinated by connections between rural traditions and our connections to the British landscape. There is a sense of prehistory in old place names and early monuments. Melvyn Evans. After completing a degree in illustration at Exeter College of Art and Design I studied at Goldsmiths College London for a year, and took up drawing classes at the Royal College of Art under the tuition of Bryan Kneale RA. I have been a professional artist, printmaker and illustrator since 1992.
