Michael Sheppard was born in Yorkshire and studied at Wakefield College of Art, Leeds College of Art and Nottingham University. He has exhibited in galleries throughout the UK and USA, including the Hart Gallery in London and the Westminster Gallery in Boston, USA. He is a Member of the Penwith Society of Arts, and so his work is also regularly on show at the historic Penwith Gallery in St Ives.
