Oct 29, 2020 · The artists selected for June, July and September will be given rent-free use of a furnished cabin on the shores of Lake McDonald. This cabin is rustic with no cell phone service or internet. Basic cooking equipment and bedding is provided. This housing is only available for the artist.

Thomas Moran’s paintings and William Henry Jackson’s photographs of the mysteries of Yellowstone helped to inspire congress to set aside that land as a national park. Since 2014, Bighorn Canyon has hosted many amazing artists and photographers that have helped to record the history of this landscape. In 2020, we are hoping to host four more.
