Realism Inserted. This newest series of paintings consists of a background setting of abstract design elements, with realism as a surprise focal point. Nature is a major theme, as it is in much of my work. After I’m satisfied with the overall expanse of the canvas, I paint realistic flora and fauna within the semi-abstract backdrop.
