Aug 14, 2012 · Why aren't nylon stringed guitars used more in jazz? It's such a lovely sound imho. I know that there are and have been a couple of players here and there, Byrd, Sylvain Luc etc, who have used nylon stringed/classical guitars but for jazz players as a whole they are something of an anomaly.
