Peter Owen Jones was Head of Art at KES from 1967 until the 1980s. After retiring, Peter followed his love for painting and the city's streets, trams and railways and became a successful artist in his own right. Sadly he died unexpectedly in 1993. The family has since kept many paintings and in the last 18 years has only exhibited his original works 3 times.
