Parvin. Parvin grew up in the beauty of the Iranian hillsides with occasional visits to the Caspian Sea on the northern coast. These scenes have greatly impacted the artist she became. She emigrated to the United States at age 8, went back to Iran to attend high school, and returned to the United States to major in Story Illustration at Chouinard Art Institute (California Institute of the Arts).
