Among the many pastel artists I collect is Andrew Gunderson (1888 – 1964). Gunderson lived in Monee Illinois, just South of Chicago and created a prolific amount of pastel paintings in his one man studio. Most were landscapes, some seascapes and still life. He created his own pastel hues for his special paintings.
