I have used purple for faith, to evoke depth and mystery within the surface of the image. It is also the colour of kings, in this case, Jesus, the King of Kings.

To me, yellow is the colour of hope. It reminds me of sunrise, a light in the darkness, the warmth of the sun. The key shape used here is the triangle, which is like an arrow, as hope is always directional – we hope in something, or for something.
