Jan 09, 2013 · In his work, Jeanes explores the processes of corrosion, liquefaction, and stratification as incidental approaches to creation. Each of his works is developed improvisationally, without a finalized plan, and up to 25 layers of paint are individually applied and removed from each painting.

Paul Jeanes is by far the BEST teacher you could get! I took 2D process and Painting 1 with him and they were great. He is by far the GREATEST professor and my favorite. He is incredibly helpful and nice. His classes are fun and he's incredibly funny. I learned a lot from him and HIGHLY recommend him!
