May 18, 2016 · In February local artist, Paul Vousden, took part in the Quay Place artists open day, Sunrise to Sunset. Despite near freezing conditions Paul, wearing thermal trousers and ski hat, spent the day painting medieval tracery which had been removed from the south transept.

Cornelis Visser, was born at Spaarndam, North Holland on 26 August 1903, fourth child of Siebe Visser, a water-lock builder, and his wife Alida Francina née Kipperman. He entered the Harlem Academy of Art at the age of fourteen and two years later exhibited his first works in the Amsterdam Museum when the Rijksmuseum purchased two of his works.
