Paul Waterhouse (1861–1924) was the eldest son of the eminent architect Alfred Waterhouse. He joined his father's practice and became a partner in 1891. During this time he worked on Girton College, Cambridge (1887), the Refuge Assurance Building, Manchester (1893), and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (1896) and University College Hospital (1897), both in London.
