Nov 02, 2006 · It's a 1980 model Peavey Artist VT. It's got the 12" Black Widow speaker which sounds a lot like a JBL D120 (or E120) to me. The preamp is solid state and the power section has 4 6L6 tubes for about 100 watts of power.

Dec 19, 2014 · I have found a Classic VT series and was wandering if anybody knowes anything about them? it is a older model with a single 12 inch speaker. the guy says it is a 50 watt tube combo. was these good models? does anybody know where i can find a manual on it? i have looked on pevey site was unable to find the right manual all of the ones i found was 212 models.

May 09, 2015 · Apparently the 100 Series has a preamp with discreet transistors, the VT has integrated circuit based preamp. How do I choose between these similar amps? I'd like to hear your opinions, especially from Peavey fans who have experience with these amps. The amp would be used strictly as a clean pedal platform (likely a Boss GT-100 and a Bogner Blue).
