Miller also gathers his education and inspiration from the works of artists including Velazquez, Turner, Constable, Pissaro, Bellows, and Schmidt. Currently living in Northern Vermont with his wife and three daughters, Miller integrates the surrounding natural elements in his "alla prima" methods.

Born in Burlington, Vermont, Peter Miller is an artist specializing in film and photography based in Essen, Germany and Paris, France. He received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and apprenticed to be a silversmith.
