Peter Winstanley. Peter was educated as a botanical scientist and having studied at University in Bangor he fell in love with North Wales and was to spend the next 25 years there as a strawberry grower. During all this time, however, he continued to paint. He was taught to paint initially by his headmaster and encouraged further by his aunts, all of whom were painters.
